By downloading or using MyTapri ("the app"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. About the App

MyTapri is a free, offline ledger (khata) application designed for Indian shopkeepers and small businesses. The app helps track sales, customer balances, and payments locally on your device.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal and commercial business record-keeping purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works
• Distribute, sell, or sublicense the app
• Use the app for illegal purposes

3. Free Service

MyTapri is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to:

• Display advertisements within the app (Google AdMob)
• Introduce optional premium features in the future
• Modify or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice

4. Your Data

• All business data you enter is stored locally on your device
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data
• We are not responsible for data loss due to device damage, theft, app uninstallation, or any other reason
• We recommend using the Backup feature regularly to protect your data

5. Accuracy of Records

MyTapri is a record-keeping tool, not an accounting or legal application. You are responsible for:

• The accuracy of all data you enter
• Verifying calculations and balances
• Maintaining separate official records if required by law
• Compliance with applicable tax and business regulations

6. WhatsApp Integration

The app allows sending payment reminders via WhatsApp. By using this feature:

• You confirm you have the recipient's consent to send messages
• You are responsible for the content and frequency of messages sent
• We are not responsible for any disputes arising from messages sent via the app
• WhatsApp's own Terms of Service apply to all messages

7. Advertisements

The app displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads are governed by Google's terms and policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• We are not liable for data loss, business losses, or financial damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (which is zero)

9. Updates

We may release updates to fix bugs, improve performance, or add features. Some updates may be mandatory for continued use of the app. We recommend keeping the app updated to the latest version.

10. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may terminate or suspend access to the app if you violate these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
